OSHKOSH — The Oshkosh Fire Department came to the aid a local pet owner Monday morning after their dog became trapped after falling through thin ice in a pond.
The pet was safely rescued and authorities said people should not hesitate or delay calling if they or a pet are in trouble on the ice.
They say timely response is critical to ensuring a good outcome like firefighters did this morning.
