LITTLE CHUTE — The Little Chute Area School District will host events on Thursday and Friday to recognize the Mustang Football team for qualifying for the WIAA state championship.
The team faces Winneconne at 7 p.m. Thursday in Madison for the Division 4 state title. PREVIEW
The community is invited to cheer on the team during its departure and return.
The send-off events are planned for Thursday, November 20th.
- Assembly: A state send-off/pep assembly, open to the public, will be held in the Fieldhouse from 12–12:25 p.m.
- School Visits: Following the assembly, the team will walk through the Intermediate and Middle Schools. The football team will then visit young Mustang fans at Little Chute Elementary School and St. John’s from 12:45–1:25 p.m.
- Police Escort: A police escort will accompany the team buses from the Little Chute High School (LCHS) parking lot to the I-41 southbound exit starting at 1:30 p.m.
The welcome back events will take place on Friday, Nov. 21.
- Parade: A welcome back parade for the players and coaches, open to the public, is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.
- Assembly: A welcome back assembly will follow in the Fieldhouse from 9:15–9:45 a.m., also open to the public.
- Photo Op: Pictures will be taken in the Fieldhouse from 9:45–10 a.m.
Parade
- Families and spectators are asked to review the parade route and suggested viewing areas.

- Taylor Street east of LCHS
- Florida Avenue between Taylor and Buchanan
- Main Street between Buchanan and Grand Avenue
- Restrictions: Only authorized police, fire, and school vehicles are permitted in the parade. All spectators must remain off the road, and participants must remain on transportation and are not allowed to throw anything during the parade.
