KAUKAUNA — Kyle “Spike” Liesch, known as the “Voice of the Ghosts,” has been nominated by the KHS activities director for a state organization’s service award.
Each year the Wisconsin Athletic Director’s Association allows member AD’s to present a Service Award to a person in the community that goes above and beyond for students and the district.
This year KHS Activities Director Kasey Smith nominated Liesch to be recognized.
Liesch is known as the “voice of the Ghosts” at all football games and many other athletic events.
He helps with event management and supervision at home and some away events.
Liesch has been a supporter of the Kaukauna Dance Team and is the selected DJ for the State WACPC events in La Crosse, creating a “home field” feel for the Dance Team.
He has created relationships with kids quickly in his work at KHS as they see him here on many week nights and weekends, Smith said in a social media post.
