KAUKAUNA — Vintage vehicles will return to the grounds of the Charles A. Grignon Mansion in Kaukauna Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
But this year the show will have a new focus, which is to honor the memory of car enthusiast Rob Jackels who passed away in February.

Rob was instrumental in building the show from a handful of Model Ts 10 years ago to a celebration of the internal combustion engine with over 140 entries last year.
The family friendly event will feature horse drawn carriage rides around the Grignon grounds, historical games, and a DJ with not so historic music. A food tent will be selling brats, burgers and hot dogs, along with beverages, chips and cookies.
Basket raffles will have something for every taste with themes ranging from games for kids, car care, sweet treats, food and everything in between.
A silent auction will feature footballs autographed by Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur and wide receiver Jayden Reed.
Lumiere De Bougie’s Jennifer LaVoy has created a special candle with 100% of the profits going to the Rob Jackels Memorial Scholarship.
Proceeds from this year’s show will be shared between the scholarship established by Rob’s parents, Bob and LeeAnn Jackels, for a Kaukauna High student wanting to continue their education in the automotive trades and the Friends of the Mansion to support programs at the home.
There is a $15 entry fee for anyone wishing to display their vehicle with no advance registration.
The 2 p.m. awards program will announce winners in 11 different categories of age and type from classic to rat rods cars, trucks, and motorcycles including a Best in Show and Mayor’s Choice.
The Mansion is located at 1313 Augustine St. For more information on the car show or to volunteer your time, contact the Friends of the Charles A Grignon Mansion at grignonmansion.org.
