KAUKAUNA — Andrew Jensen, a senior forward with the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts basketball team, has announced his commitment to DePaul University in Chicago after graduation.
In a social media post Tuesday, Jensen wrote, “I would like to thank my family, coaches, teammates, and everyone who’s supported me throughout my journey. With that said I’m excited to announce I will continue playing at DePaul University.”
Jenson, 6-9, 220 pounds, chose the Blue Demons over scholarship offers from Illinois, Loyola, Marquette, Milwaukee, Northwestern, and West Virginia. He was also receiving interest from Minnesota, Stanford and Wisconsin.
Andrew took an unofficial visit to DePaul and received a scholarship offer from Holtmann on June 12th, and followed that up with a second unofficial visit on June 24th.
“I liked it a lot. I was very surprised by how quiet it was — being in Chicago. It’s a super nice area. The facilities were great. I thought the staff was great. The way they run their practices is similar to how our high school does practices. So I liked it there a lot,” Jensen told 247sports. READ MORE
