OSHKOSH — The Oshkosh Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that occurred inside Menominee Park. A suspect has been arrested.

According to a news release, officers from the Oshkosh Police Department were called out about 11 p.m. Saturday to the 900 block of E. Irving Avenue.

Once on scene, officers discovered that the driver of a car, an adult man, had been stabbed multiple times and was dead.

As they investigated, officers discovered that there was a physical altercation that took place between several people at Menominee Park.

The physical altercation escalated, which resulted in one man being stabbed, according to police.

A 19-year-old man from Fond Du Lac was taken to jail, and faces a possible charge of first-degree intentional homicide.
