KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna River View Middle School participated last week in their annual Day of Service working at the Statesburg Apartments.
Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity provided equipment to power their efforts and support the young change-makers.
Students made a real impact—spreading mulch, filling planter beds, and planting trees with help from the city’s naturalist to restore the greenery lost to disease.
“When we come together, we grow stronger communities—one project at a time,” Habitat wrote in a social media post.
Work at the apartments was just one of many projects where student-volunteers helped during their Day of Service.
