KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna’s head boys’ basketball coach, Mike Schalow, will retire after 30 seasons, according to a social media post from Kaukauna Boys Hoops Club.

Schalow wraps up his career with a 482-246 record, highlighted by two state basketball titles.

He also has six Fox Valley Association conference titles to his credit.

Schalow has led the Ghosts to:

  • 1 state runner-up finish
  • 4 state tournament appearances
  • 7 elite 8 appearances
  • 4 sectional titles
  • 13 sweet 16 appearannces
  • 17 regional titles

Schalow most recently was been named 2024-’25 Fox Valley Association conference coach of the year, his sixth FVA coach-of-the-year recognition.

Three players from this year’s team joined Schalow with all-conference honors.

Senior Keegan VanKauwenberg and junior Andrew Jensen both are unanimous first-team, all-conference selections. Jensen also was named to the all-defensive team.

Senior Caden Graff received honorable mention all-conference.
