KAUKAUNA — The City of Kaukauna is asking residents for help because of continuing violations at the city’s disposal site.

According to a social media post Monday, there have been numerous violations at thee city of Kaukauna disposal site.

The site is located at the intersection of W. Third St. and Bicentennial Court behind the Streets, Parks and Recreation building.

Cabinets, furniture, building materials, metal objects, and electronics are all items in violation.

The overfilling of dumpsters is a safety concern for employees, according to the city.

If the lid doesn’t close, the dumpster is overfilled. Site users need to bring their refuse back home until the dumpsters are serviced or bring it to the Outagamie County Landfill.

Piling refuse on the ground is also a violation.

The city urges residents to be familiar with the Disposal Site Agreement and rules that you have agreed to follow when signing up for site access.

The City will issue minimum fines of $150 for a first offense and $300 for second and any future offenses. In addition, revocation of site access may occur at any time at the judgement of the City for any violation.
