Brown County will be closing the intersection of Brown County D and County Z for approximately one month and maintain an additional detour during this period.

The existing pavement is nearing the end of its useful life, according to the Outagamie County Highway Department, and it is experiencing cracking that has caused settling and poor ride quality.

Steep, sub-standard ditch slopes exist throughout the project limits, creating potential safety issues.

Poor drainage is present in several locations along the project. The proposed improvements will reconstruct County Z to address the deficiencies.
