COMBINED LOCKS — Over the next couple of weeks, weather permitting, Combined Locks will be doing controlled prescribed burns of the retention ponds in the Coonen and Ruy’s Woods area.

Earlier this week, the Kaukauna Fire Department assisted with burns along the prairie next to the CE trail.

Prescribed burns help control unwanted vegetation and deter nuisance animals from building habitats

The Combined Locks Fire Chief will be stopping by homeowners directly around the ponds to request access through their properties.

The map below has the ponds highlighted in yellow.
