KAUKAUNA — The man accused of crashing a motorcycle Aug. 11, 2024 in Kaukauna, killing the woman he was riding with, was convicted Tuesday in Outagamie County Circuit Court.

Zachary Burr, 22, Kaukauna, pleaded no contest to homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and to hit-and-run involving death, according to online court records.

Two other counts were dismissed.

Burr’s passenger, Arianna Stevens, 20, was killed in the crash.

According to a Kaukauna Police Department news release, officers were sent about 4:30 a.m. Sunday to a motorcycle crash near the intersection of Depot Street and Taylor Street in Kaukauna.

As a result of the crash, Stevens was transported to the hospital and later died, according to police.

Sentencing is set for June 16.
