KIMBERLY – Six-time platinum recording artist Joe Nichols will open the 2025 Paperfest at Sunset Park in Kimberly, for a free concert on Thursday July 17, 2025 sponsored by Community First Credit Union.
Nichols, known for his chart-topping hits such as “Sunny and 75,” “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,” and “Gimmie That Girl,” comes to Northeast Wisconsin for a night of free country fun at Paperfest.
With over two billion audio streams, 10 million albums sold, and multiple Grammy nominations, Joe Nichols has earned a reputation as one of country music’s most respected and versatile performers. His blend of traditional country music and modern influences has made him a fan favorite across the country. Joe Nichols’ new album, Honky Tonks and Country Songs, is available now, and its first radio single, “Better Than You” – a duet with rising star Annie Bosko – has been climbing the charts at U.S. country radio.
The concert begins with The 308s at 5 p.m. The 308’s are no strangers to a good time. From rodeos to trail rides, taverns to festivals and everything in between, they bring the party wherever they go.
Nichols closes out the night on the Event Production Systems Sunset Stage at 8:30 p.m. The free concert is sponsored by Community First Credit Union.
Foghat will headline the 37th Annual Paperfest presented by Community First Credit Union on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
The 37th annual free-admission event will feature a food truck rally, carnival rides ($1 rides on Sunday), a hot air balloon glow, and more. The festival will offer over 30 free live music acts across three stages including national headliners. The music is great, the beer is cold, but the best part is the proceeds from Paperfest are donated back into the community through various local nonprofit organizations. It’s all about community.
