FREEDOM TOWNSHIP — A Green Bay man has been charged in connection with the November fentanyl-related death of a Freedom Township man.

According to a news release, the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office responded Mov. 3, 2024, to a residence in the town of Freedom, because of a suspected drug overdose of a 43 year-old man found dead by family members. 

Based on intelligence and evidentiary items collected on scene, investigators say they were able to identify a suspect who supplied the fentanyl. 

The suspect, Jake Reinhard, 49 years old of Green Bay was arrested on March 18, 2025 and is currently being held in the Outagamie County Jail. 

Reinhard is charged with 1st Degree Reckless Homicide / Delivery of Drugs.

The Brown County Drug Task Force and Green Bay Police Department assisted the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office in this investigation.
