GREEN BAY — In an effort to give more fans on the Green Bay Packers’ season ticket waiting list a shot at moving up in line, the team announced last week it will continue its non-renewal policy.
The non-renewal exercise has taken place in recent years to ensure Packers season tickets are being used as intended.
This year, as part of the exercise, the organization declined to renew the season tickets of accounts that have sold 100 percent of their tickets for regular-season games for multiple years.
Tickets not being renewed will be offered to fans on the waiting list.
Account holders with tickets not being renewed are receiving letters from the Packers ticket office with more information.
The Packers’ waitlist, which currently has about 150,000 names, means fans will like wait 30-50 years to get their tickets.
