MADISON — Kaukauna’s Liam Crook will wrestle for his second state title in a row Saturday, while five of his teammates also will be on the mat at the WIAA state individual wrestling championship in Madison.
The Ghosts are led by the senior, Crook, who moves up to 175 after winning the gold medal at 165 last season, which came on the heels of a fifth-place finish at 160 in 2023.
Nick Jenkins at 113, Andy DiPiazza at 120, Peyton Lee at 150 and Nehemiah Lendobeja at 285 will all wrestle Saturday night as well for third place.
Kolin DeGroot at 165 will begin wrestling around 10 a.m. and could finish as high as fifth place with two wins.
The championship matches will be broadcast live beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday on WCWF (CW 14). It will also livestream on FOX11online.com.
