KAUKAUNA – The Chris Klug Foundation partnered with Kaukauna Coffee & Tea and Kaukauna High
School Feb. 14 to promote for its National Donor Day Sip N Save Campaign to promote organ, eye and tissue donation.

The foundation partnered with coffee shops in 17 states, reaching 21,000 people to distribute custom coffee sleeves, posters, and stickers designed to educate and inspire patrons to consider becoming organ, eye, and tissue donors, according to a news release.

The Sip N Save Campaign was an innovative approach to spreading awareness about the critical need for organ, eye, and tissue donors.

By partnering with local coffee shops, CKF leveraged coffee drinkers’ daily rituals to deliver an impactful message. The coffee sleeves featured a QR Code, allowing individuals to register easily, while informative posters and stickers encouraged customer engagement and registration as donors.

“By integrating our message into something as routine as a coffee break, we’re able to reach people in a unique and memorable way,” said Chris Klug, Founder of the Chris Klug Foundation. “Our goal is to spark conversations and inspire action that can save lives.”

The campaign’s success can be attributed to CKF’s strategic partnerships with coffee shops that served as community hubs. By placing educational materials directly into the hands of consumers, CKF made significant strides in raising awareness about the importance of donation. The initiative not only educated but also empowered individuals to make a difference in the lives of those awaiting transplants.

In 2026, CKF plans to expand this initiative to reach even more communities and drive higher registration numbers.
