LA CROSSE — It was a good weekend on the ice in La Crosse for the Kaukauna High School Fishing Team.
The Ghosts finished fourth in a field of 87 in the 2025 WIFA State Ice Fishing Championship.
More than 1,000 anglers from around the state fished the Mississippi River between Trempealeau and Stoddard near La Crosse.
Teams are scored based on the biggest fish and the longest total caught. Teams received awards and trophies based on the results.
