KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Ghosts girls basketball game Monday against Neenah will raise money to support Dawn Schalow, wife of boys head basketball coach Mike Schalow.

According to a social media post from the Kaukauna Girls Basketball Association, Dawn Schalow has been battling recent health problems, so the group is spearheading the fundraising effort to support the family.

“Coach Schalow has led the boys program for 30 years and is a beloved teacher at Kaukauna High School. We’d like to do what we can to lighten their load,” read the social media post.

There are a few ways you can help:

*Join fans at Kaukauna High School, Monday, Jan. 20, 2025 to turn the gym purple (but black and orange are good too )
*There are a limited number of T shirts for purchase game night with 100% of profit going to the Schalow family
*There will be a Miracle Minute at half time of the varsity game where student athletes will be running through the stands collecting for the family.

Games times: JV2 4:30/JV1 6 p.m./ Varsity 7:30 p.m.
