KAUKAUNA – The City of Kaukauna and the Kaukauna Public Library recognized the Kaukauna High School Civic Engagement class for its efforts in collecting three truckloads of food and hygiene products for the Library’s Little Free Pantry.
Students in the class, led by Lea Verhagen and Hailey Kobussen, distributed flyers, collected donations throughout the city, sorted items, checked expiration dates and transported the donations to the library.
“We would like to thank all the community members that graciously donated items,” Mayor Tony Penterman said in a statement.
The Little Free Pantry at the Kaukauna Public Library provides food and hygiene products to those in need.
