KAUKAUNA — Evening commuters in the Fox Valley are dealing with icy conditions from Oshkosh to Green Bay after an icy blast moved through the area Wednesday afternoon.
Wisconsin Highway 55 south is fully closed from Schmidt Road to Manitowoc Road because of a crash. Last Updated 12/4/24, 3:51 PM.
The 511Wi.gov traffic map shows slow travel on the 441 bridge just off I-41 in Fox Crossing.
I-41 north of Wrightstown is also slow with icy spots.
Earlier today, a snow squall warning has been issued for much of east-central Wisconsin, including the Fox Valley.
A brief, burst of heavy snow showers and gusty winds moved across east-central Wisconsin for about a half hour. Visibility dropped as low as 1/4 mile causing near white-out conditions.
