KIMBERLY — For the second time this season, the Neenah Rockets knocked off conference rival Kimberly, ending the Papermakers season with a 34-14 loss.

Kaukauna moved on to Level 3 in the WIAA Division 2 playoffs with a 48-21 win over Beaver Dam. They’ll face West De Pere at home Friday for the second time this season.

Facing Beaver Dam Friday, the Ghosts took the opening kickoff on a 72-yards drive capped by an Aiden Reardon 32-yard run and Linkoln Xiong extra point to quickly go up 7-0.

After trading touchdowns but holding a lead at 14-13, Kaukauna’s defense took control and never looked back.

Reardon had three running touchdowns, Kyle Kress had two and Laythan Hurst had his first career touchdown.

Bron Schaefer had one passing touchdown to Parker Schuh, and Xiong was 6 for 7 on extra points.
