KAUKAUNA — The city of Kaukauna is once again looking for a donation of a suitable tree to cut down to be enjoyed by Kaukauna residents during the holiday season.
The ideal tree should stand 25-30 feet tall and be in good condition.
The chosen tree will be placed in Hydro Park near Crooks Avenue and will be lit during the Electric City Christmas Parade on Tuesday, Dec. 3, where the donating family will be recognized for their donation.
If you have a tree that you believe is suitable, contact the mayor’s office prior to Nov. 1, 2024 at 920-766-6300, ext. 1123 or mbrouch@kaukauna.gov
If possible, please send a few pictures of the tree.
The City of Kaukauna will cut the chosen tree down and transport it to Hydro Park at no cost. However, the owner is responsible for removing the stump at their own expense. If you have questions, please call the number above.
The 2023 tree was donated by Karl and Lynnette Kilgas.
