APPLETON — An investigation continues after a building and vehicle were hit by gunfire Saturday night in Appleton and police are reaching out to the community for tips.

According to a news release, Appleton officers were called out about 10:30 p.m. Saturday to an address in the 2500 block of North Richmond Street for a report of gunshots.

When they arrived, officers located a vehicle and a building that appeared to have been struck by gunfire.

Officers conducted interviews with witnesses on scene and no one appeared to be injured as a result of the gunfire.

Investigators were called in to take over the investigation and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible for this incident.
