KAUKAUNA — With the beginning of the 2024 high school football season comes a flood of fake accounts offering game live streams for a fee.
The official Kaukauna High School Facebook page reported Friday they’re the latest to be targeted with a fake, copycat page.
Currently, the only official free livestream of Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts football home games, and many away games, comes from Zaleski Sports. Fans should be wary of streams for any other source.
“Please know that all of the streams Kaukauna provides during the regular season are fee-free,” wrote Kaukauna High School on its Facebook page.
“An easy way to be certain you are seeing the actual KHS page is to look at the number of followers and the amount of posts or pictures on the page. We have a significant amount of content, whereas the false pages will typically only have a few posts that they have attempted to copy from our page,” the wrote
“We have taken the steps to report the improper page, but have no other control of that situation,” they wrote.
The Kaukauna Football Facebook group, with about 2,500 members, also only share the free, official links.
Kaukauna Community News also is a trusted source for safe links to game live streams. Links will be posted in stories directly to the news outlet’s website HERE to avoid fake social media accounts.
