KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna Utilities is asking its customers to cut back usage Tuesday and Wednesday due to excessive heat.
According to an email sent to customers by the utility, due to weather conditions, their power system is under stress this week.
They’re asking customers use less energy from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. by taking the following actions:
Raise your thermostat by a few degrees and use ceiling fans to reduce airconditioning use.
Wait to do your household chores—like laundry or running your dishwasher—until after 7 pm.
