Wednesday update 8 p.m.

A National Weather Service team on the ground Wednesday in Kaukauna has confirmed the area was hit by an EF-1 tornado. READ

Wednesday morning update 9:30 a.m.

The City of Kaukauna Street, Park and Recreation (SPaR) building has dedicated space in their Community Room for residents to charge their devices.

The SPaR building is located at 207 Reaume Avenue. The Community Room is accessible from the entrance on 3rd Street. If you have questions, please call 920-766-6335.

Wednesday morning update 8:30 a.m.

An alternate brush and tree-limb drop off site has been established at the Bayorgeon Softball Field #1 located at 700 Dodge Street. Please bring brush to the back of the parking lot near the barricades.

Wednesday morning Outage Update 7:44 a.m.

According to the National Weather Service, a spotter estimated wind gusts reached 70 mph as storms moved through Kaukauna.

Wednesday morning Outage Update 6:14 a.m.

Kaukauna Utilities crews worked through the night and were able to restore power to most customers. Of those remaining without power (approximately 40 customers), most will need to contact an electrician to have your service/meter socket repaired. Once, that repair is complete, please call the Kaukauna Utilities Operations Center at 920-766-5988.

Wednesday morning Update 3:30 a.m.

SHELTER OPEN: The Red Cross has set up a shelter for residents of an apartment building in Kaukauna that was damaged by Tuesday’s storms. Anyone who has been displaced by the storms can join us for a safe, warm place to stay, food and other essentials at Kaukauna High School.

Power Outage Update 10:12 p.m.

Currently, Kaukauna Utilities has three circuits out that are affecting customers on the north and south side of Kaukauna. Crews are out assessing the situation. Restoration time at this point is still unknown.

Outage Alert 10:12 p.m.

Kaukauna Utilities reports 35 active outages affecting 4,127 customers.

Storm update 10:10 p.m.

Reports are coming in that part of the roof has blown off on Bicentennial Court.

Kaukauna Utilities is reporting they are experiencing wide-spread outages due to tonight’s severe weather. Crews are being called in.
