KAUKAUNA – The Kaukauna Area School District on Tuesday announced the selection of Aaron Herm as the new Principal of Kaukauna High School beginning with the 2024-25 school year.
Herm’s appointment was officially approved during the District’s Board of Education meeting on May 13, 2024.
He’ll take over for current principal Chris McDaniel who will be the Kaukauna Area School District’s next Financial Manager.
Most recently, Herm served as associate principal at Oshkosh West High School for six years, where his leadership has been instrumental in fostering a vibrant and supportive educational environment.
Herm brings a wealth of experience to Kaukauna High School, having dedicated all 15 years of his career to high school education, according to a district news release.
His professional journey has been marked by diverse roles, including teaching Social Studies, Special Education, and Alternative Education.
Herm is recognized as a highly visible and engaged leader who prioritizes building strong relationships with students, staff, and the community, according to the district.
His approach to leadership is characterized by a commitment to continuous improvement, instructional excellence, and a process-oriented methodology. These qualities have earned him a reputation for driving positive change and enhancing the educational experience for all stakeholders.
