The group has arrived at the rehearsal hotel right off of Times Square and rehearsals have begun.

NEW YORK — A bus load of Kaukauna High School choir students, teachers and other staff arrived in New York City late Wednesday ahead of a performance at the famed Carnegie Hall.

The group is being led by Kaukauna High School choir instructor Joy Paffenroth, who was invited by Mid America Productions to serve as a conductor on their 2024 season at Carnegie Hall.

The performance is set for this coming Saturday, April 13, 2024.

Paffenroth will conduct members of the KHS Choirs, members of choirs from Colorado, the New England Symphonic Ensemble and distinguished professional soloists in a performance of “Mass in G” by Franz Schubert.

The group will be in New York City for several days to attend rehearsals and explore the city.
