KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Area School District Music Department, school district and community have been honored once again as one of the nation’s “Best Communities for Music Education” by the NAMM Foundation.
This is the department’s fifth consecutive year receiving this prestigious recognition.
This achievement is a testament to the outstanding efforts of our dedicated teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders who have collectively embraced the importance of music as an integral component of a well-rounded education, according to a news release from Jacob Martin, Kaukauna High School Instrumental Music Educator.
“Thank you! Out of all the school districts across the nation, we are proud to stand among the elite 975 districts recognized, with just 37 in our state achieving this honor in 2024,” Martin said.
“As a music department, we extend the deepest gratitude to our entire Kaukauna Area School District community for their unwavering support.”
“Thank you to the staff for their passion, commitment, and hard work to provide countless students with the transformative power of music education. “
