KAUKAUNA — Eight teams will compete April 5-7, 2024 in the final weekend of the 55th annual Holy Cross Men’s Basketball tournament.

In opening round action this past weekend:

The Unintentional Appleton defeated Camps Bar and Grill Combined Locks, 114-92

Tundra Apparel De Pere defeated Baumgart Mechanical Kaukauna 99-75

UW Health Madison defeated TWGV Milwaukee 75-62

McCarty Law Appleton defeated Oak Acre Properties Oshkosh 90-88

Wingait Farms Mazomanie defeated Schmitty’s Tickets Combined Locks 101-93.

The tournament attracts some of the top amateur basketball players from throughout the Midwest including two who will play Saturday for a state high school basketball title.

A year ago, McCarty Law defeated Keller 91-86 to claim the title

Third place went to Schmitty’s Tickets who defeated Wingait Farms, 101-87
