KAUKSINS — Some areas of the Kaukauna will see sidewalks rehabilitated this summer as part of the upcoming Sidewalk Replacement Program, according to the city’s Engineering Division.

The purpose of this program is to identify sidewalks which are unsafe, defective, or insufficient.

All areas of the city are covered under the program on a rotating basis.

Some additional sidewalks outside of the project areas may also be replaced due to various issues creating potentially unsafe conditions.

Residents in the areas marked on the map may start to see pink dots over the next few weeks on the sidewalk panels proposed for replacement.

A letter will follow in the coming months describing the program and the requirements.
