ORLANDO — The Kaukauna Dance Team has won the 2024 national championship in Large Pom at the Contest of Champions Nationals in Orlando.
The competition was held March 1-3, 2024 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Convention Center.
The team also was selected as one of six varsity routines to perform again as a Showcase Performance.
“An unforgettable end to an incredible season. Proud is an understatement,” read a post on the team’s Instagram.
The Contest of Champions Nationals is an open competition in categories including Contemporary, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Prop, Lyrical, Novelty/Character, Modern, Ballet/Pointe, Open, Tap Clogging, Military, Kick & Pom.
