GREEN BAY — A potent winter system will move north into the Great Lakes region late tonight into Tuesday, bringing heavy snow and gusty winds.
The heaviest snow will occur early Tuesday into Tuesday evening.
Accumulations of 6-10 inches are expected in the Appleton, Kaukauna and Green Bay areas up through Door County, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.
Some lake enhancement could boost totals along the lakeshore areas.
A winter storm warning will run from 3 a.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Wednesday.
