KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna High School Orchestra will hold a special concert Monday featuring alumni musicians as well as an auction to support the department.

The concert is free, beginning with the silent auction in the KHS commons at 5:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 8, 2024.

The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. The concert will feature current orchestra students along with about 20 alumni who have been practicing with the orchestra for the performance.

Among the auction items are several pieces by Kaukauna artist Scott Felten of Benches & More, Creations who has created a bass bookshelf, cello coffee table and cello neck wall clock for the event.

Other items include:

  • Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra Experience – Backstage tour pre-concert, meet the Maestro and see stage from the musician’s perspective, then attend the concert with your family (April 27th)
  • Fox Cities PAC tickets – 2 tickets to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center’s presentation of Jessica Vosk on Saturday, February 17th at 7:30pm.  The total value of our contribution is $90.00.  Here is a description of the show

  • Culver’s Basket
  • Heid Music Basket

The proceeds help continue the success of the Kaukauna Orchestra program while the concert connects its past with its present, according to a news release.

Several pieces by Kaukauna artist Scott Felten of Benches & More were created for the auction.
