WRIGHTSTOWN — Wrightstown football will play for a WIAA Division 5 state championship next week after defeating St. Croix Falls 33-12 Friday in Rhinelander.

The Tigers will play at 4 p.m. Thursday at Camp Randall Stadium against La Crosse Aquinus, 20-13 winners over Columbus.

This will be Wrightstown’s fourth trip to state, after winning state titles in 1998, 2006 and 2011.

In Division 1, Kimberly will not return to Madison to defend its state title after falling 14-7 to Marquette

In Division 2, Kaukauna was denied a trip to state for the second year in a row, this year with a 24-14 loss in the semifinal to Waunakee.
