MADISON – Dappleview Tatoo Ella, owned by Tristen Ostrom of Kaukauna, was named Intermediate Champion and Reserve Grand Champion last week of the International Junior Holstein Show at the World Dairy Expo in Madison.

Olson is the son of Jim Olson, a partner in Kaukauna’s MilkSource Genetics, which also had a successful showing at the Expo.

In the International Red & White show, Ransom-Rail Beth-Red, the winning 5-year-old, was named Reserve Senior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion.

Ransom-Rail Beth-Red is owned by MilkSource Genetics, Ransom-Rail and Fischer of Kaukauna.

Those were just two of the multple awards won during the seven-day show that draws people from all over the world.

Premium Apple Crisp Lilly-Red was named Grand Champion of the International Red & White Show.. Prior to Lilly being named Grand Champion, the winning Four-Year-Old was tapped Senior Champion. She is owned by Jim Butler of Chebanse, Ill.

Intermediate Champion honors went to the winning Senior Three-Year-Old, Golden-Oaks Temptres-Red-ET. She is owned by Milk Source, Fischer, Steincrest, and Crescentmead of Kaukauna and received the Eugene Nelson Intermediate Champion Award.

Standing next to Temptres as the second place Senior Three-Year-Old, Willye Srndptous Legacy-Red, claimed Reserve Intermediate Champion of the International Red & White Show. She is owned by Oakfield Corners Dairy of Oakfield, N.Y.

Junior Champion was claimed by the Summer Yearling Heifer, Sco-Lo Dc Rogue2470-Red-ET, owned by Fly Higher, Elmlo, Andy, and Whitney Reynolds and Mackenzie Reynolds of Corfu, N.Y. and receives the Norman E. Magnussen Memorial Award. Following as the Reserve Junior Champion is Betley Lightsout-Red-ET. The winning Winter Yearling is owned by Claire and Jacob Betley of Pulaski, Wis.

Oakfield Corners Dairy of Oakfield, N.Y. claimed Premier Exhibitor and Kress-Hill Dairy of Newton, Wis. was named Premier Breeder. Bella-Ridge, Harbaugh and Loehr Families of Marion, Wis. was crowned Premier Breeder and Exhibitor of the heifer show. Riverdown Unstopabull-Red was the Premier Sire and Mr Blondin Warrior-Red-ET was the Premier Sire of the Heifer Show for the second consecutive year.

Official judge, Phillip Topp of Botkins, Ohio, and associate judge, Tanner Schmaling of Elkhorn, Wis., evaluated the 351 entries.
