The Ahlstrom Thilmany Paper Mill in Kaukauna has announced its latest group of students to begin their a Youth Apprenticeship with the mill.

KAUKAUNA — The Ahlstrom Thilmany Paper Mill in Kaukauna has announced its latest group of students to begin their a Youth Apprenticeship with the mill.  

  • Brody Riehl is currently attending Kaukauna High School and graduating in the spring of 2025.
  • Brennan Raddatz is currently attending Menasha High School and is graduating in the spring of 2024.
  • Nolan Hietpas is currently attending Kaukauna High School and is graduating in the spring of 2024.
  • Carlos Sanchez is currently attending Menasha High School and is graduating in the spring of 2024.

Raddatz, Sanchez and Hietpas all are working in the mill’s maintenance department and will be pursuing a skilled trade upon graduation from high school.  Riehl is currently working in the facilities department.

These students will work side-by-side with the mill’s maintenance and facilities teams learning valuable skills and upon their graduation, will be pursuing a skilled trade.  

The Youth Apprenticeship program is sponsored by the Department of Workforce Development and coordinated through the local high schools.  

The apprenticeship allows students to learn valuable skills and earn money.
