KIMBERLY — Road construction will begin on Thursday, July 20, 2023 on the Hwy CE/Railroad Street intersection, which will result in temporary lane closure along CE and access to Railroad Street will close. The intersection is in the town of Buchanan just before the Wisconsin Highway 441 interchange with CE.
This intersection has historically had safety, capacity and operational concerns, which will be addressed by this change. Implementation of an RCut can reduce accidents by up to 50 percent, according to the Wisconsin DOT.
