KAUKAUNA — Memorial Day Ceremony at the Kaukauna Veterans Memorial Park Ring of Honor will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 29, 2023.
In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the Community Room in the Street, Parks, and Recreation building, 207 Reaume Ave. in Kaukauna.
The Fox Valley Veterans Memorial Event being held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the Outagamie County Court House Steps at 410 S Walnut Street.
The event will be a processional homage to those on the War Memorial inside the building.
There will be a Gold Star Banner as the Tribute point of Salutes and Flowers honoring the fallen.
Anne Norman will be the bag piper for this event and American Legion Post 41 will be the rifle team.
Patriot Guard will line the cement area with Flags of Honor.
The ceremony is open to the public to join in and Gold Star Families are welcome as well to join the processional in pairs and pay tribute at the Gold Star Banner to those we remember, according to a news release.
