KIMBERLY – Multi-platinum recording artist Jerrod Niemann will headline a free concert July 14, 2023 at the Paperfest Music Festival in Kimberly.
The country boundary-pusher with a strong visual presence known for his clever wordplay and attention-grabbing lyrics returns to the Fox Cities with hits including “Lover, Lover,” “What Do You Want,” and “Drink to That All Night,” according to a news release.
Niemann is an engaging singer-songwriter with 11 Top 40 hits. Niemann’s truly original voice continues to make his mark by creatively pushing boundaries while still offering a sincere nod to the legends before him.
Niemann received multiple nominations from Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association, and CMT Awards.
The free concert begins with Two of a Kind and their twist on classic country at 5 p.m. Driftwood is up next with their high energy country show at 7:30 p.m. Driftwood has been nominated for multiple Wisconsin Area Music Industry Awards (WAMI) and over the years has shared the stage with numerous national acts.
Niemann takes the Event Production Systems Sunset Stage at 9:30 p.m following the fireworks show.
Paperfest presented by Community First Credit Union brings the fun to Sunset Park in Kimberly on July 13-16, 2023.
The 35th annual free-admission event offers something for the whole family with fireworks (Friday), hot air balloon glow (Saturday), carnival rides ($1 rides on Sunday), food truck rally, riverboat cruises, axe throwing, helicopter rides, family fun, and so much more.
As the sun goes down, the lights go up in a big way with 35 free live music acts across three stages including national recording artists and local favorites. The music is great, the beer is cold, but the best part is the proceeds from Paperfest are donated back into the community through various local nonprofit organizations.
