KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna police are warning motorists of treacherous travel this morning following heavy snow overnight.
Visibility is limited after several inches of snow gas fallen in a short amount of time.
An earlier jackknifed semi on I41 north bound near Freedom Road that had been causing traffic issues has been cleared.
“Please try to stay in this morning if at all possible,” police said in their Facebook post.
Several inches are possible, with the highest from the Fox Valley to the lakeshore, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.
The snow will likely create slippery and slushy travel conditions. Quiet weather, along with some sunshine, returns on Sunday.
