HORTONVILLE — State investigators have been called in after a woman was found dead Saturday and a man at the home was discovered with serious injuries in an incident in Hortonville.
Police were called to a home on the 200 block of Spruce Street around 11 a.m. Saturday for a report of two unresponsive people, according to a news release from Hortonville police.
They discovered an adult woman who was dead and an adult man with serious injuries.
Officers immediately began life saving measures and the man was taken to a local hospital.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation is leading this investigation and is assisted by Hortonville Police Department, Wisconsin State Crime Lab, Outagamie County Coroner’s Office and a DCI Crime Response Specialist.
There is no danger to the public at this time, police say.
