KAUKAUNA — Park Community Charter School will celebrate the building’s 125th year on March 16 with a community open house.

The open house will take place at the school from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. where some of the school’s 4th grade students and teaching staff will talk about the school’s history and how teaching and learning has changed over time.

The open house also will include displays, including pictures dating back to 1897 when the building opened as Kaukauna’s first high school.

This past week, students prepared for the open house with a large group photo taken by Jason Lahm using a drone.

Park Community Charter School is a place-based charter school located in a vibrant, historic neighborhood serving approximately 250 students in grades 4K through 4.
