KAUKAUNA — In the race for county executive, Tom Nelson will face Kevin Sturn of Greenville when voters return to the polls for the April 4 general election.

In the statewide race Tuesday, Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Janet Protasiewicz and ex-Justice Dan Kelly were the top two vote-getters in a four-candidate field.

In Kaukauna, four candidates listed on the ballot and one write-in are running for the Kaukauna Area School District Board of Education.

Current board member Joe Huss is not running for re-election, so four candidates will be running for two open seats on the board, according to the district office.

  • Sue Gertz, incumbent
  • Charles West
  • Dale Antoine
  • Tracy LyBoualong
  • Mike Campbell, registered write-in

Also on the ballot, two of the four Kaukauna City Council seats on the ballot will be contested.

  • District 1 – Marty DeCoster (I) faces Liz Walker
  • District 3 – Brian Schell (I) faces Chris Britten

Kelli Antoine in District 2 and Pennie Thiele in District 4 are running unopposed.
