KAUKAUNA — Students at Victor Haen Elementary School in Kaukauna are collecting cereal boxes to donate to an area food pantry after attempting a massive domino path through the school.

The challenge is organized by the nonprofit, Do Good Wisconsin.

Students are accepting donations of cereal boxes through Nov. 24, 2023 in the school office.

They are competing against other schools in the state of Wisconsin on two things:

  1. Raising the most cereal boxes and donating to a local pantry.
  2. Using their cereal boxes to make a domino path throughout their school and videotaping it.

The school that wins either of those challenges gets a special visit from an ambassador from Do Good Wisconsin and is presented with a trophy.

After the contest, the cereal all will be donated to the Loaves and Fishes food pantry in Little Chute.
