KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Fire Department is battling a house fire the broke out Sunday morning on the city’s south east side.

Firefighters were called out at 6:42 a.m. to 15 Woodhaven Lane near the Girl Scout Camp for a report of a house fire, according to the Kaukauna Fire Department.

As of 9:30 a.m., firefighters from Kaukauna and Little Chute were on the scene.

Combined Locks Fire & Rescue is currently staffing the City of Kaukauna Fire Department as a change of quarters.

Staffed with firefighters and EMT’s, Combined Locks Engine 2921 is covering fire protection and EMS calls in the city of Kaukauna and Village of Combined Locks until Kaukauna clears the scene of the house fire.

Outagamie County CERT who provided beverages, food, and a warming station for our 35 firefighters on scene who battled the blaze.
