APPLETON — Police continue to look for a suspect in a shooting Sunday night that left an Appleton man in critical condition.

That’s when Appleton Police Department officers were sent about 8 p.m. to the 1200 Block of North Briarcliff Drive for a report of a man in the middle of the road who was bleeding.

Officers responded and found the 56-year-old Appleton man with significant injuries that appeared to be a gunshot wound.

Medical aid was provided by the initial responding officers and the man was transported to an area hospital.

The man sustained serious injuries and remains in critical condition. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the Appleton Police Department, Investigator Yule at 920-832-5500.
