LAS VEGAS — It’s been four years since Jordan McCabe and Donovan Ivory spent time on the same basketball court as Galloping Ghosts at Kaukauna High School.

But on Thursday, they were reunited, although this time on opposing sidelines.

McCabe and his UNLV team defeated Ivory and Southern Miss 74-63 Thursday in Las Vegas.

McCabe scored 7 in the game whole Ivory scored 6.

After the game, the former Ghosts swapped jerseys for a photo shared in the players’ social media pages.

Both players were on Kaukauna’s 2018 state championship team.

McCabe, a 2018 Kaukauna High School graduate, is in his second year as a Runnin’ Rebel.

He was a graduate transfer from West Virginia University prior to the 2021-22 season.

McCabe played three seasons for the Mountaineers, appearing in 94 career games and making 49 starts.

He was twice named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team and led WVU in assists as a freshman.

Ivory, a 2019 grad, has taken a longer route in college basketball.

He played U-Mass Lowell out of high school, then transferred to Boise State as a sophomore, was a redshirt sophomore a year ago at UW-Green Bay before finding a home this year at Southern Miss.
