TOWN OF KAUKAUNA — Slippery roads are being blamed for a rollover crash today on Wisconsin Highway 96 between Wrightstown and Kaukauna.
Town of Vandenbroek-Kaukauna Fire was called out Sunday about 12:40 p.m. for scene safety at a vehicle rollover.
Investigators determined the vehicle was driving down Highway 96 when the vehicle crested a hill and came across a snow covered road.
The driver lost control and crossed the road, slid into the ditch and landed on the roof, according to a news release from the Vandenbroek Kaukauna fire department.
The condition of the driver was not released.
“This is a good reminder to always be aware of road conditions,” read the news release. “With fresh snow and windy conditions country roads can be ever changing.”
